ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ : ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੱਧਕਾਲੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਐਡਵਾਂਸ ਪੋਲਿੰਗ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ 13 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ। ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ 20 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਅਸਮਰਥ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਾਰ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੋਟ ਪਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਲੈਕਸ਼ਨਜ਼ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਲੋਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਜਿਸ ਤਹਿਤ 20 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਐਡਵਾਂਸ ਪੋਲਿੰਗੀ, ਡਾਕ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਦਫ਼ਤਰਾਂ ‘ਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਪਾਈਆਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਐਡਵਾਂਸ ਪੋਲਿੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ 14 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਲੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ 500 ਦਫਤਰਾਂ ‘ਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਈ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਡਾਕ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਇੱਛੁਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ 14 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਤੱਕ ਅਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨਾ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੈ।

ਇਲੈਕਸ਼ਨਜ਼ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਐਡਵਾਂਸ ਪੋਲਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਸਮੇਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਸਵੇਰੇ 9 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਤ 9 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
