ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ : ਮਰਹੂਮ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਮਾਮਲੇ ‘ਚ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਕੱਟ ਰਹੇ ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਲਗਭਗ 24 ਸਾਲ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਪੈਰੋਲ ਤੋਂ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਅੰਦਰ ਬੀਤਾ ਲਏ ਹਨ। ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਾਫ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਮਰ ਕੈਦ ‘ਚ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬੀਤੀ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਵਫਦ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਵਫਦ ਨੇ ਭਾਈ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਦੀ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਾਫ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ। ਦੱਸਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 25 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 2012 ਨੂੰ ਐਸਜੀਪੀਸੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਕੋਲ ਰਹਿਮ ਦੀ ਪਟੀਸ਼ਨ ਪਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸੁਣਵਾਈ ਹੋਣੀ ਬਾਕੀ ਹੈ।

We also took up the issue of denial of permission to the SGPC delegation to visit #NankanaSahib to assess the situation after the recent attack on Gurdwara Sahib as well as targeting of Sikhs there.
