ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ: ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਬੇਮੌਸਮੀ ਬਾਰਸ਼ ਦੀ ਮਾਰ ਹੇਠ ਆਈਆਂ ਫਸਲਾਂ ਲਈ ਮੁਆਵਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਟਵਿੱਟਰ ‘ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਬਿਆਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਲਾਨਿਆ 15,000 ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਮੁਆਵਜ਼ਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਆਵਜ਼ਾ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ 30,000 ਰੁਪਏ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਏਕੜ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੈਪਟਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਗਿਰਦਾਵਰੀ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਉਥੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਦੱਸਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਹਾਲੇ ਤੱਕ ਕਿਸੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
I urge the @PunjabGovtIndia to provide time bound compensation & interim relief for the farmers whose wheat crop has been damaged by recent rains.
The compensation of Rs 15000 per acre isn’t adequate & I demand that compensation must be enhanced to at least Rs 30,000 per acre.

ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ 15 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸੂਬੇ ’ਚ 20 ਲੱਖ ਹੈਕਟੇਅਰ ਕਣਕ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ 50 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਏਕੜ ਮੁਆਵਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
