ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ : ਪਦਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਮਿਲਖਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮਿਲਖਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਕਾਰਨ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ 85 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਨ।
ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮਿਲਖਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਫਾਰ ਵੂਮੈਨ ਦੀ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਵੂਮੈਨਸ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਵਾਲੀਬਾਲ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਵੀ ਸਨ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮਿਲਖਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ‘ਤੇ ਡੁੰਘੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਇਜ਼ਹਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮਿਲਖਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ‘ਤੇ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
