ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ: ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਬਾਅਦ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਟਵੀਟ ‘ਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ, ‘ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਖੁਸ਼ਕਿਸਮਤ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਉਹ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਉਮੀਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦਾ… ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਾੜ ਜਿੰਨੀਆਂ ਉਮੀਦਾਂ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਫੀਆ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ… ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਖਰੇ ਉਤਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕ-ਪੱਖੀ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੁਨਰ-ਸੁਰਜੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ‘ਤੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ… ਸਭ ਠੀਕ ਰਹੇ।’

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਰੀ ਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਵੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਈਸਟ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੀਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਾ ਸਕੇ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
