ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਉਪ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਕਮਲਾ ਹੈਰਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਫੋਨ ‘ਤੇ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਹੈਰਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ, ‘ਉਪਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਕਮਲਾ ਹੈਰਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਰਣਨੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਦੀ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ‘ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ, ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਵਾਸੀ ਭਾਰਤੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲੇ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਕਜੁੱਟਤਾ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।’

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰ ਦੱਸਿਆ, ‘ਅਸੀਂ ਭਾਰਤ-ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਜਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਲਈ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ‘ਤੇ ਵੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ।’
