ਸਸਕੈਚਵਨ: ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਸਸਕੈਚਵਨ ‘ਚ ਕੁਝ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰਾਹਗੀਰਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਚਾਕੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ 10 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਜਦਕਿ ਘੱਟੋ ਘੱਟ 15 ਹੋਰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋਏ ਦੱਸੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਇਹ ਹਮਲੇ 13 ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਥਾਵਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਦੋ ਸ਼ੱਕੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਨਾਖ਼ਤ ਡੈਮਿਨ ਸੈਂਡਰਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਈਲਸ ਸੈਂਡਰਸਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਅਜੇ ਫਰਾਰ ਦੱਸੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੱਕੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਕੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਖਤਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਅ ਲਈ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਾਂ ਨਿਕਲਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਜਸਟਿਨ ਟਰੂਡੋ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਕਿ,’ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਤੇ ਦਿਲ ਕੰਬਾਊ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ।
