ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਦੇਸ਼ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਿਤਾ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੀ 154ਵੀਂ ਜਯੰਤੀ ਮਨਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਅੱਜ 2 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਿਤਾ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਦਿਵਸ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਵੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਭੇਂਟ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਹ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰਾਜਘਾਟ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਇਸ ਖਾਸ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮਲਿਕਾਰਜੁਨ ਖੜਗੇ, ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਸਪੀਕਰ ਓਮ ਬਿਰਲਾ, ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਉਪ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਵੀ.ਕੇ. ਸਕਸੈਨਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਈ ਨੇਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਅਵਸਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਦਰੋਪਦੀ ਮੁਰਮੂ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਈ।

ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਐਕਸ ‘ਤੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਜਯੰਤੀ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਖਾਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਅਹਿੰਸਕ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲ ਕੇ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਅਮਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਵਿਆਪੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਜਾਂਚ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਏਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਇਆ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਯਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਰਹਾਂਗੇ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ‘ਪੂਰੇ ਪਖੰਡ’ ਦਾ ‘ਪ੍ਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼’ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇ ਮਤਾ ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਗਾਂਧੀਵਾਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਅਪਣਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਮਰੱਥ ਹਨ।ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇ “ਝੂਠ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੱਚ” ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ “ਨਫ਼ਰਤ, ਬਦਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਖਪਾਤ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ” ਉੱਤੇ ਦਇਆ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਹਾਵੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
