ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ: ਪੱਛਮ ਬੰਗਾਲ ਦੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਬੇਨਰਜੀ ਨੇ ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਚੱਕਰਵਾਤ ਅਮਫਾਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੱਟੋਂ-ਘੱਟ 72 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋਏ ਇਲਾਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਨਰਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਲਈ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਮਮਤਾ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੈਬਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਦੋ ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਮੁਆਵਜ਼ੇ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ । ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ , ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਕਰਵਾਤ ਅਮਫਾਨ ਕਾਰਨ 72 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਦੋ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ – ਉੱਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣ 24 ਇਲਾਕਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਫਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਸੰਭਵ ਮਦਦ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਾਂਗੀ । ’’ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਲਈ 1,000 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਪੈਕੇਜ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
