ਚੇਨਈ: ਤਾਮਿਲਨਾਡੂ ਦੇ ਕੁੰਨੂਰ ’ਚ ਵਾਪਰੇ ਹਾਦਸੇ ’ਚ ਸਵਾਰ ਸੀ.ਡੀ.ਐੱਸ. ਬਿਪਿਨ ਰਾਵਤ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਸਮੇਤ 14 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
4 ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਬਿਪਨ ਰਾਵਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਲੱਭ ਕੇ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਥੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਡਾਕਟਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੋਸਿ਼ਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਆਖ਼ਰਕਾਰ ਡਾਕਟਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਐਲਾਨ ਦਿਤਾ ਹੈ। ਹਾਦਸੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਇਕ ਘੰਟੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਜਨਰਲ ਰਾਵਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੈਲਿੰਗਟਨ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਟਰੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਫੌਜ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਨਰਲ ਬਿਪਿਨ ਰਾਵਤ, ਮਧੁਲਿਕਾ ਰਾਵਤ ਅਤੇ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ‘ਚ ਸਵਾਰ 11 ਹੋਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਮੰਦਭਾਗੀ ਦੁਰਘਟਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
