ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ : ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਟਕਸਾਲੀ ਆਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੇਖਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸੇਵਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੇਖਵਾਂ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਬੀਮਾਰ ਸਨ । ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਦੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੇਟੇ ਜਗਰੂਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੇਖਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ‘ਤੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਚੰਨੀ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ: ਸੇਵਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੇਖਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਅਕਾਲ ਚਲਾਣੇ ‘ਤੇ ਦਿਲੀ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਖਲਾਅ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਰਹੱਦੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੇਖਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ‘ਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਮਤਭੇਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਯਾਦ ਹੈ। ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਅੱਗੇ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿਛੜੀ ਰੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੇਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਨਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਘਾਟਾ ਸਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਬਖਸ਼ੇ।
